Silk casts smoothly. Bamboo and Graphite both respond well to Silk Lines. Casting for most anglers seems almost effortless and is definitely more enjoyable. With less line to remove from the water, the back cast is cleaner and transfers more energy into the line. This means you can expend less effort in casting. Silk’s thinner diameter cuts through the wind better and results in less lost energy.
